Before headling the Middle East in Cambridge, MA last night, Wells, Maine rapper/producer Spose took some time out to talk to HITPmusic.com. A former signee of Universal Republic, now label head of his own company, PDank Entertainment, the 26-year-old is the creator of the hit “I’m Awesome,” which has nearly 8 million YouTube views, reached #37 on the Billboards and led to Vibe calling him the “next great white rapper.” In my two-part interview (filmed by Brian Langton) with the witty Spose, we discuss his background, being on a major label, using humor in his music, influences, working out of Maine, fans throwing quarters on stage, and more!
